The cheapest ranking gain you have left
Internal links pass authority, define relevance and are entirely under your control. Most sites have dozens of unclaimed opportunities: paragraphs that already mention a service by name but never link to it. Paste the page copy and your target list and the tool shows each mention, its surrounding sentence, and whether the link is already there.
Rules that keep internal linking effective
- Use descriptive anchors — the target page’s topic, not “click here”.
- Link from within body copy, not only from navigation and footers.
- Point supporting articles at commercial pages, and vary the anchor each time.
- Three to eight contextual links per article is plenty; more looks mechanical.
- Never add a link where the sentence does not naturally lead to it.
Build the target list once
List every money page with the two or three phrases you want it associated with, in the format phrase | /url/. Reuse that list for every new article and internal linking stops being guesswork.
Pair it with external links
Internal links distribute the authority you have; external links create it. Once the internal structure is tight, that authority reaches your commercial pages far more efficiently — the approach we apply on every link building campaign.
