We started because bought links kept letting clients down
Rank Shifters grew out of in-house SEO work, where the monthly link report was the least trustworthy document in the business. Domains looked strong in a toolbar and had no readers. Anchors were repeated until the profile screamed automation. When rankings dipped, nobody could explain which placements had caused it.
So we rebuilt the process around one rule: if we would not be comfortable showing a client the live page, we do not buy the link. Every publisher on our list is checked by a human for traffic trend, topical fit, and how many outbound commercial links it already carries.
How we work
- Senior-only outreach. The person pitching your placement is the person who chose the publisher.
- Writers with subject knowledge. Finance, SaaS, health, and legal content is written by people who use the vocabulary correctly.
- Full disclosure reporting. Live URL, anchor text, target page, DR, and organic traffic for every placement.
- Replacement guarantee. If a link is removed within twelve months, we place a like-for-like replacement at no cost.
